Peter Cameron

Peter D. Cameron is one of the world's leading authorities on energy law. He is currently Professor of International Energy Law and Director of the Centre for Energy, Petroleum and Mineral Law and Policy at the University of Dundee in Scotland UK. Peter is a barrister (England & Wales, Middle Temple) and currently sits as an arbitrator in ICSID proceedings. Formerly he was a professor at the European University Institute in Florence and, prior to that, Director of the International Institute of Energy Law at Leiden University in the Netherlands. He has held visiting or part-time posts at the Universities of Oxford, Stanford, Singapore and Madrid (Autónoma). He is an honorary professorial fellow at Edinburgh University. He is the author/editor of fourteen books and almost one hundred articles. In 2013 Peter was elected as a Fellow of the Royal Society of Edinburgh.
