Met Gecrasht schreef Columbia University-historicus Adam Tooze een voorlopig standaardwerk over de kredietcrisis van 2008. Tien jaar later is er in Europa nog te weinig veranderd. ‘We zijn nét goed genoeg in het bedwingen van een crisis om een ramp te voorkomen die dwingt tot radicale hervormingen.’
