Vincent Mosco (Ph.D., Harvard University) is Professor Emeritus of Sociology at Queen’s University, where he held the Canada Research Chair in Communication and Society. Dr. Mosco is the author of numerous books and articles on the media and information technology, including The Political Economy of Communication and The Digital Sublime: Myth, Power, and Cyberspace. Mosco is the joint recipient of 2014's Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication (AEJMC) Professional Freedom and Responsibility award with his wife, Catherine McKercher.
