Hij maakt deel uit van de Onderzoekseenheid Arbeids- en Organisatiepsychologie en Opleidingskunde. Hij was ook hoogleraar Onderwijsinnovatie & IT aan de Universiteit Maastricht. Zijn onderzoek richt zich op teamleren, cooperatief leren, assessment, L&D, training transfer en dergelijke in organisaties en hoger onderwijs.
