Tectonic Boundary Conditions for Climate Reconstructions
Gebonden Engels 1999 9780195112450Samenvatting
While modelling climate on tectonic time scales has received considerable attention in recent years, little attention has been given to assessing the effects of uncertainties in tectonic boundary conditions (positions of continents, height of mountains, depth of sea floor, etc). This volume of original papers, the result of a request from the National Research Council to inquire into areas where solid earth geophysical studies could interact with climate studies, corrects that deficiency and contributes to studies of global change.
