Ons denkvermogen is onvoldoende meegegroeid met de eisen van het informatietijdperk, stelt University of Michigan-psycholoog Richard Nisbett in Denkkracht. Daardoor kunnen zelfs weldenkende mensen er stompzinnige ideeën op nahouden. ‘Bepaalde vormen van domheid hebben niets met IQ te maken.’
