Strings in Step Violin Book 2
Onbekend Engels 1991 9780193221307Samenvatting
Strings in Step is designed to introduce pupils to the basics of string playing. It succeeds, with carefully graded exercises, pieces and illustrations, games and worksheets together with much useful information along the way. Absolutely nothing is left to chance - everything is clearly explained via charts, drawings and large notation. Note values, slurs, key signatures, signs and improvising all take their ordered place, ensuring steady progress. Here then is a self-contained, comprehensive resource for teaching both in ensemble and individually, with straightforward piano accompaniments in a separate volume. I heartily endorse books that encourage listening, performing and composing right from the start. Strings in Step will delight both teachers and their young charges.
