Samenvatting
Ernest Edward Kellett (1864–1950) was an English writer and literary critic who was senior English master at the Leys School, Cambridge from 1889 to 1924. Originally published in 1928, this book presents a selection of thirteen essays by Kellett on a variety of literary figures and themes. Reflecting the author's often outspoken views, the text contains many 'audacious traversings' of widely held opinions regarding certain figures and 'reconsiderations' of previously held critical positions. This book will be of value to anyone with an interest in literary criticism and the writings of Kellett.
