The Lockpicker's Pilgrimage

"A profound and unique take on the post-apocalyptic genre - where the apocalypse is of the mind and culture rather than a physical catastrophe."

- John McGeorge, Teaching Fellow, The University of Auckland.

"A gift to share with anyone who loves expanding the way they interpret the world they live in."

- Mark Wilson, Rector of St. Andrew's College, Christchurch.

"The Lockpicker's Pilgrimage picks the locks of one's belief systems and ideologies, arresting the reader with real-world implications. It stands alongside Jostein Gaarder's Sophie's World or Madeleine L'Engle's A Wrinkle in Time."

- Rev. Dr. Myk Habets, Head of Theology, Laidlaw College, Auckland.

Locksmith turned lockpicker, West roams a rusting world of emptiness, until an unexpected encounter reveals insider information about the most elusive resource: honey. Instead of trading it for passage to The Other Island, where Anointed Sophia claims trustworthy knowledge about reality itself, cunning West devises alternative plans for the liquid gold.

However, when unpredictable Dasein discovers West's unusual skillset, West must confront his own dubious ethics. The more his options shrink, the more he realises wonderment is essential for enlightenment.
