Samenvatting
"A triptych: - an executive from a packaging company makes a presentation - a 40-year old actress with the mind of a child entertains two men - the hideous story of multiple murderer James Inwood is narrated using statements and testimonies from the infamous trial. Philippe Minyana's unique style and form, using real-life commentary, social issues viewed through the lens of popular poetry, non-dramatic structure and punctuation-free prose has made him the most famous of French living playwrights. Habitats is his latest work and his first play to be translated into English. Habitats is part of the National Theatre's Channels project, a series of contemporary French plays read in translation at the Lyttleton in June 2002. "
