In this compendium the clinical and pharmacological properties of Ginkgo biloba, a standardized drug and the subject of increasing worldwide interest, are closely portrayed. Results of studies are presented here which illustrate the influence of Ginkgo on haemodynamic and rheologic parameters, metabolism and neurotransmitters.
