Professor C N Yang's groundbreaking work reshaped modern Physics. He co-developed the Yang-Mills gauge theory, a foundation of the Standard Model, and shared the 1957 Nobel Prize in Physics with Tsung-Dao Lee for their discovery of parity non-conservation. The Yang-Baxter equation further transformed research in quantum physics and mathematics.
