Samenvatting
The present first edition of the Allegro for piano by Donizetti is based on the original manuscript, now in possession of the Museo Donizettiano in Bergamo and catalogued as No. 13 of fascicle 64. The piece has no title, nor is the instrument indicated. The revision involved only a supplementing of accidentals; the articulation was adjusted to conform to parallel passages without further mention. Dynamics suggested by the editor are in brackets. The fingerings are by Theo Mölich.
