Standing still is going backwards. Change is necessary in order to remain successful. Transformations are initiated for various reasons; they can be commenced to respond to changes, or they can be deployed to deal with a latent crisis. In some cases, transformations are launched in a moment of blind panic. Results show that most transformations lead to disappointing results. Transformations can be executed much better.
