Samenvatting

In today’s globally competitive market place, it is important for all businesses and organizations, whether manufacturing or service, to continuously focus on customer satisfaction. By effectively applying Lean Six Sigma, your organization can supply products or services of outstanding quality, cost efficiently with shorter delivery lead times.

Lean Six Sigma Black Belts are experts in executing Lean Six Sigma projects across departments and organizations. As a program manager they are responsible for managing complex breakthrough projects and supporting improvement teams. This book reviews the analytical tools and techniques necessary for leading change.

The series ‘Climbing the Mountain’ demonstrates a cohesive set of improvement methods that have been proven to be successful over decades such as TQM, Kaizen, TPM, Lean and Six Sigma. These methods, tools and techniques have been united in the ‘Continuous Improvement Maturity Model’ (CIMMTM).

The structure of this book is based on the Lean Six Sigma Academy syllabus for Black Belt. It combines a number of powerful tools and techniques with the skills and mindset required to achieve successful Process Improvement. As such, this book forms the basis for Lean Six Sigma Black Belt training programs and is a guideline for Black Belts and Champions to deploy Lean Six Sigma within the organization.
