Kadir van Lohuizen (Nederland, 1963) heeft talloze prijzen gewonnen in de fotojournalistiek en is medeoprichter van NOOR Images. In 2000 en 2002 maakte hij deel uit van de jury van de World Press Photowedstrijd en tot voor kort was hij lid van de Raad van Toezicht van de World Press Photo Foundation. Van Lohuizen publiceerde een selectie van deze reeks onder meer in The New York Times.
