Gert Alblas is sociaal- en organisatiepsycholoog en was als universitair docent verbonden aan de Rijksuniversiteit Groningen en de Open Universiteit. Tegenwoordig is hij werkzaam als auteur. Voor Noordhoff schreef hij meerdere boeken over psychologie, management en organisatie.
